Reflection
After I did all this projects, I earned many precious things. I have read many books before, but I have never done these things before. When I didn't do these, I didn't have chance to think deeply enough about the book. After I these, I liked the book more. It touched me more because I went through what I read. I could imagine more, and think more. So if I just read the book without doing nothing, I could have thought the book was boring because the book was related to the history. And I get easily bored at histories. But I didn't feel bored. It was so fun and this never happened to me before.. And I realized the importance of writing summaries about the book. I will write summaries when I read books. It definetely helps me analyzing the story of the book and helps earn more in the stories. So, doing these projects made me have more fun reading this book and made me get interested in the history too. I want to read some other books related to this book.
Goals, dreams, and motives in 'Born under a million shadows'
The main character in my story is Fawad. He is a boy who lost most of his family. He is under the influence of the Talebans. And actually they are the reason of the lost families. His mother tries to forget about the past, and think of the future. To be happy at least as a human being. Fawad hopes to be a great man and make his mother happy. And he also wants to have a wonderful woman when he grows up. He also wants to live in the peaceful place. In his place he often listens to the sad stories because of a war. Their is a boy named, Spandi. He is called, 'Spandi' because he always sells spandy to the western people. He is a hard-working and warm-hearted boy. He is a best friend of Fawad. One day when Fawad was in the store with Jamilla, He saw Spandi far away standing on the road. At the back of him, there were dark clouds, loud noises, old buidings and the people fighting. His face was so white and didn't know what to do. He was so frightened. At the moment Fawad cried,'Spandi!' and together with Jamilla he rushed to Spandi. Almost reaching there, suddenly Spandi's body shook and they saw a hole in his chest. Blood flowed from his chest and fell on the ground. Fawad cries, "NO!!!" and lay his body on his shoulder and run as fast as he could. He lost his best friend. I think the story is trying to motivate us about the wars. The story tells us about the suffering of the people related to wars. It tells us how much the wars can hurt people not only physically but mentally too. So after I read the book, I realized the importance of a peace. And I'm thankful too.

Fourth summary NO! Spandi!
Still in Haji Khan's house, a car came in. It was Haji Khan's older brother, Haji Jawid. He was the reason Haji Khan looked annoyed. He had made another problem and Haji Khan paid lots of money for it. As Haji Khan arrived home, he calls his brother to his room. In the evening, they had a great meal and went to sleep. They were now going back.
They arrived to Kabul and Georgie asks Fawad not to tell the detail stories why they went to Jalalabad. Having nothing to do, Fawad went to Pir. And he tells Fawad that he has a great idea. The great idea was the board written ' Free deliever. Sell Cake.' And Fawad carrying on his shoulder to advertise. He feels so ashamed and exhausted delivering in the cold winter, but Pir gave him Chocolate bar for the works. His mom knew the fact that Fawad was working some hard works so she gets angry for making Fawad's toes swollen and blue. She tells Pir not to assign Fawad hard works.
One day Fawad see Spandi far away from the shop.He was standing near the wreckage
the Corolla. He was caught in a gigantic nightmare. Around him the air was dark with smoke, and he watched pieces of metal and black-red body parts float to the ground like feathers as our eyes met and our lives came to a stop. Spandi was Fawad's best friend and he was like brother to him. He was alive and Fawad felt his love for him race through his veins, thumping some messages in his heart. Together with Jamilla, they ran toward him . The bullets flew through them but they kept running. Almost reaching him, he heard a shout of Afhan and foreign. Their voice were angry and fierce. But then his head suddenly snapped back. He saw a hole in his ches, spitting blood onto his shir. NO screamed Jamilla and Please, no! He's only a boy! screamed Fawad.

Journey!!
Fawad thinks he is not special. He is not amazingly beatiful , but he is not Jahid-ugly either. He is not the smartest guy in the classroom, but neither is he dumb like a donkey. He is not the fastest runner, He doesn't tell the best jokes. He had seen things that maybe a boy his age shouldn't have seen, even that doesn't make him special. His Father was killed, his brothers are dead, and his sister is missing. But in Afghanistan, that's
"So what?" However when he woke up in the morning, he opened his eyes to see May and Georgie sharing the bed next to him while James was wrapped in a blanket snoring on the floor by his side, and at last he felt some way special.
Jalalabad is the capital of Nangarhar Province in the east of Afghanistan. It was the city to escape the extreme cold of winter. And Georgie and Fawad decides to escape from cold too. For Fawad the journey was pretty interesting. It was his first trip out of Kabul. When they arrived in Jalalabad it was late afternoon. They drove straight into city and halfway down they stopped at Hafi Khan's place, a large white mansion set in a garden. Georgie was greeted by the men sitting on the sofa near TV and see was invited to sit. Fawad sat with a distance because he wanted to let men know he is not a baby. Then they have a dinner and go to rooms and take some rest. In the evening, Haji Khan returned home and his voice was loud. Fawad looked down stairs through leak and saw Haji Khan's fierce face. And Fawad thinks that it is because Georgie and he came to visit his house without letting him know. But next day his son tells him he wasn't angry of it. He thinks that this place is also Georgie's house. After the breakfast, they ride on Haji Khan's car and goes to find a man named Baba Gul Rahman in Pakistan. Fawad asked Georgie if Haji Khan was happy to see her. And she says probably. So Fawad realized that Georgie had something in her heart so he told her to say the things so she could feel better. She explains that first when they met they fell in love and Haji Khan used to whisper her 'I love you.' 'You are my world.' But because Georgie's business gets to an end in Afghanistan and went back to London. Haji Khan's calls decreased and Georgie felt that his love is changing. Even when she found a new business in Afghanistan and moved , she didn't even inform him. And Haji Khan later founds out and call to his house and ask angrily why she didn't tell him. And after that they start loving again, but something seemed different then the previous time. And she felt upset for that.

New house!!
This is my book summary page 1-50.
In this story, the main character tells the story. And the main character is a boy named Fawad. He was born under the shadow of the Taliban. He lives with only his mother. His mother said that long time ago, she once had a house and a garden. And a kitchen very clean that they could sit on the floor and eat. But after the Taliban came, they lost all their things and families. Then Fawad's aunt let them stay in their house. There he meets his cousin Jahid, best friend Spandi and a girl Jamilla. Actually Spandi's name was Abdullah but while others went to school, he went out and sold spand to fat Westerners and that's why they call him Spandi. After school, they go out to the Chicken Street and ask for money or steal money from foreigners. They think that stealing money is the moral distribution of wealth. Fawad's mom always tells him ," You keep away from Jahid...filling your head with such nonsense. He's a dirty little thief." But Fawad thinks it is impossible since he is living under the same roof as Jahid.
One day, they moved out of Fawad's aunt's house. It took them whole hours to walk from Khair Khana on the edge of the city to Wazir Akbar Khan, the location of their new house. And Fawad's mother tells him that they are going to live with two women and one man. And the woman named Georgie had invited them to live with them. And apparently, his mother had been washing Georgie's clothes for weeks.

Spectator Sports =)=) Playground
I got it here |
Now when I go out to the playground, the first thing that catches my eyes is the little kids. They just look so happy. In their faces, they don't have any worries or concerns. They just run around and have so much fun. As I see them, I feel like I 'm going back to my childhoods. Then the nature catches my eyes. They are just so peaceful. I feel comforted and settled when I see them. Sometimes I get stressed and the things are just so complicated and it seems that I have so much things to do. So I go out and just relax a while watching at the natures in playground. And when I walk in the playgrounds I can feel that I'm alive. It refreshes me and gives me new strengths. I can say that playground is a solvent to me. That's the reason why I still like the playgrounds. And as I love sports, I often play football and basketball with anyone whether kids or adults we all play together. As a person who loves playgrounds I think that it is a very useful and valuable place. But unfortunately, in some cities, they are pulling down the playgrounds and builds new buildings. They think that it is worthless and waste of spaces. So I felt bad about that. That might be a very special and valuable to the kids but they depreciate the opportunities for kids to meet their friends and have fun. So I think that they should be elucidate with this problem. If they are going to pull down the playground, they will have to remunerate and provide the place at least the kids can have fun. Or else, they will have to One of the reason childrens are being addicted to computer games is the pulling down of the playgrounds. They don't know how to have fun with the friends outside so they just start having interests in computer and so on.. So I think this useful, enjoyable, helpful playgrounds should be protected and reserved more. So that the children can also find the happiness and leave good memories about their childhood when they grow up. Playground is a peaceful place. And don't forget playground is not only fun but also part of a pedagogy.
