Goals, dreams, and motives in 'Born under a million shadows'

The main character in my story is Fawad. He is a boy who lost most of his family. He is under the influence of the Talebans. And actually they are the reason of the lost families. His mother tries to forget about the past, and think of the future. To be happy at least as a human being. Fawad hopes to be a great man and make his mother happy. And he also wants to have a wonderful woman when he grows up. He also wants to live in the peaceful place. In his place he often listens to the sad stories because of a war. Their is a boy named, Spandi. He is called, 'Spandi' because he always sells spandy to the western people. He is a hard-working and warm-hearted boy. He is a best friend of Fawad. One day when Fawad was in the store with Jamilla, He saw Spandi far away standing on the road. At the back of him, there were dark clouds, loud noises, old buidings and the people fighting. His face was so white and didn't know what to do. He was so frightened. At the moment Fawad cried,'Spandi!' and together with Jamilla he rushed to Spandi. Almost reaching there, suddenly Spandi's body shook and they saw a hole in his chest. Blood flowed from his chest and fell on the ground. Fawad cries, "NO!!!" and lay his body on his shoulder and run as fast as he could. He lost his best friend. I think the story is trying to motivate us about the wars. The story tells us about the suffering of the people related to wars. It tells us how much the wars can hurt people not only physically but mentally too. So after I read the book, I realized the importance of a peace. And I'm thankful too.
